continued...
... substitute shrink, but slowly reveals to Dr. Foster that he hears voices and that, he is planning to kill himself at the end of the week....Saturday night at Midnight, to be precise.
Sam becomes utterly distressed and knows not how to prevent the suicide from happening. He starts to investigate anything he can find out about Henry Lethem. As Sam delves deeper into Henry's id, he finds inconsistencies and coincidences that can't possibly be true...not just untrue, but surreal.
The movie has a great eye. Most of the scenes are shot in awesome backgrounds with unbelievable architecture and atmosphere. The art direction of the film is enough to get you through the slow parts just to see what happens at the end. Stay is not by any means a heart racing horror flick. It's a mind game. Certain parts almost reminded me of fan favorite Donnie Darko. It's a pretty suspense thriller, which will keep your interest to its conclusion. My favorite part is an uncredited cameo from Amy Sidaris as a receptionist; while she's on the phone she even quotes her book "I Like You."
