... before she left on her mission. Seems that the children are channeling a message from Emily to Joe, so much for moving on huh Joe? The children's visions involve rainbows on odd wavy shaped crosses.

Joe is haunted by the childrens visions and messages and the constant apperance of what seems to be his wifes spirit in thier home. Joe and Emily's old pet bird are quickly slipping into insanity. Joe decides he's had enough and puts the house up for sale, and is really ready to move on and accept that Emily has passed on and it not trying to contact him from the dead...until he realizes the wavy cross is the universal map symbol for waterfall. Once the message has been decifered, Joe packs up a kit and heads for the jungle.

Dragonfly has a very heart touching ending. And I'm really not kidding about tear jerking aspect of the film. If you're a fan of ghost stories this may actually be the perfect film for you. It's pretty and haunting, but for the most part slow and uninteresting. Kevin Costner fan's can unite and maybe have a double feature with Waterworld. Yeah, that's sounds neat.
