... (Carrie-Anne Moss). When the new director of security for ZomCon (Henry Czerny) and his family move in across the street flaunting thier horde of Zombie slaves Mrs. Robinson decides it's time to get a Zombie of their own.
Thier Zombie arrives to the terrified surprise of Mr. Robinson (his father was infected and he had to kill him) and the joy of little Timmy who now has a new best friend, he quickly names him Fido (Billy Connolly).
What follows is a series of events that causes a Zombie outbreak and many of the locals become Zombified. Fido eats an old lady. Fido is taken away. Fido saves Timmy's life. Fido falls in love with Mrs. Robinson.
This movie is a great surprise, and really fun to watch. The Zombie effects are awesome and some of the gore is much more graphic than you would think. Right when things are a little too cheery...somebody gets chewed up. So, don't underestimate this film and consider it a comedy/parody...it really works as a great living dead film...with it's tongue firmly placed in cheek and about ready to be swallowed.
