... in the toilet Okwe and Senay's lives become a total panic when Senay cannot return to the hotel as officers have caught wind that she is working illegally. A romance buds between the Okwe and Senay. Okwe is determined to find a way to get both of them documents that will get them out of the country.

The boss at the hotel finds out Okwe is a doctor and lures him into the world of trafficking body parts to the highest bidder. Juan (Sergi Lopez), or as everyone calls him at the hotel, Senor Sneaky blackmails Okwe into operating on Senay to sell her parts on the black market, since Juan is Okwe's boss he concedes. But our story doesn't end there, lots of turns and a bit of a surprise ending to follow.

Dirty Pretty Things starts off as such a solid drama you don't see the human heart in the toilet coming. The entire film is well acted, but a little dry. Audrey Tautou is constantly adorable as the hapless Senay. I would recommend this film to anyone that loves a good heartfelt drama, but for those looking for something to make the pulse race; you might want to keep looking.
