The murder of Cotton Weary has all nerves on end and when Detective Mark Kincaid (Patrick Dempsey) shows up to ask Gale some questions all hell breaks loose. The killer has left behind a picture of Maureen Prescott, Sid's mom, but the picture is from a time that no one has any information about the woman in question. Sidney is pushed out of hiding and the killer starts offing the characters in "Stab 3" in the order they are killed in the script. But first, in a surprise quest appearance Randy (Jamie Kennedy), who was killed in the last movie, has left a video tape leaving the rules on surviving a TRILOGY! Dun dun dun.

I absolutely love all of the Scream films, but the third installment is so fun it's always been my favorite. It's full of cameos...for example Jay and Silent Bob show up to make an off-colored Connie Chung joke. Carrie Fisher is even present to say should could have played Princess Leia is she'd slept with George Lucas. To make the cast even tastier we get, Jenny McCarthey, Parker Posey, and Emily Mortimer. This film gets my bloody thumbs up. As I said in the last Scream review all 3 films are in a great Ultimate Scream Trilogy boxset with really cool extras.
