... murders and Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) is still plagued by the murders that took place in her home town, but her roommate Hallie (Elise Neal) is not gonna let her dwell. Randy Meeks (Jamie Kennedy) one of the only other survivors of the first film is going to Windsor too, and after a talk with Sidney he's convinced that these new murders have nothing to do with the events in Woodsboro. Not soon after, Dewey Riley (David Arquette) and Gale Weathers (Courtney Cox) blow into town...one to make sure that Sidney is okay and the other to follow what may be a breaking story related to her first novel. The gang is assembled and questions posed. That night while all the college students play at a Sorority mixer one of their "Sober Sisters" Casey Cooper (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is stabbed in the back and thrown out a window. Thanks to Gale's Nancy Drew skills she figures out that the 3 victims have one thing in common, the name of the first 3 victims in the Woodsboro's Murders. So...the killer is back, but who is it?

College was the natural progression for "Scream 2" and it seems right at home. The comedy becomes a little more obvious than in the first film and almost robs it of it's scary moments...but it gets right back on track when we find out who the killer is. It's not a total surprise, it's kind of logical, but maybe a little too Scooby Doo. Randy has a great new "Rules to Survive A Sequel" that's really great, and both scenes from "Stab" are perfect. One even features Tori Spelling as Sidney Prescott.
