... It's a survival horror game but they all have to help each other not get killed. Turns out though, if you die in the game you die in real life. I know, hints of "The Matrix", but in this movie no one gets sucked into the game...the game bleeds into the real world. The gang finds out the murderess in the game is fables noble lady Elizabeth Bathory. They travel to her estate in New Orleans to stop her from killing everyone that plays the game.
I love that they chose to use Elizabeth Bathory...but, they reconstructed her story in a very unbelievable way, by Americanizing her. This movie actually has some moment of near brilliance. It was so close to being a great idea, but something about the acting and direction of this film is absolutely lack luster and boring. But when our villain comes to calling in the video game scenes and the real life scenes she's kind of friggin scary. It has its moments which is enough for me to recommend it to you.
