Planet Terror is my favorite of the two Grindhouse films. Yes, it's the more convoluted plot...but hey, it's ultra gory and hella' funny. Not to mention the babes are a tad steamier than Death Proof.
Cherry (Rose McGowan) is a Go-Go Dancer. She decided she needs a drastic life change and quits after her last dance of the night, that she cried through. "It's called Go Go not Cry Cry." Good thing she quit. On her walk home she gets knocked into the trash by a caravan of military vehicles full of dark figures heading somewhere even darker.
The military caravan is a headed to a secret installation for some under the table chemical deal. A chemical that is keep some very hostile soldiers alive. The deal goes wrong and an exploded tank unleashes a thick green gas into the air...dun dun.
Planet Terror has ALOT going on so it's kinda pointless to tell you just what happens. It's much like a Night of the Living Dead movie where the undead want to eat and/or infect the living. Some of horror movies best ...
