In my review for The Hills Have Eyes I forgot to mention the awesome scary make-up effects used to create the mutants that inhabit the actual hills. The hills of this deserted nuclear test site are filled with people that have been deformed from radiation poisoning and decades of in-breeding in the deserted mines that have been all but forgotten by civilization, until now.
The government has taken a new found interest in the abandoned site. They've sent in a team to do some repairs on a few shelters so that the Marines can use the piece of land as a training ground for teams of new recruits.
