I was one of the many to be sucked into the hype of this movie. But I do think there are two ways to look at the "art" of Rob Zombie. The first being that he has a great eye for the colorful and grotesque, which makes for some serious horror eye candy. The second being that, you can't really remake "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" no matter how hard you try.

I wanted to write a summary for this film but it's a little unnecessary because the story is so obviously stolen until they add the weirdness of this Dr. Satan. So, we meet a sweet set of hapless young people. They're all horny and hyper and you're not completely sure you want all of them dead or not. For the most part yes, death would be okay, I did pay to see some ultra-violence. Then we meet the killers...who are so covered in filth that it's kind of hard to look at ...
