Overview: A young woman’s quest for revenge against the people who kidnapped and tormented her as a child leads her and a friend, who is also a victim of child abuse, on a terrifying journey into a living hell of depravity.

Director, Pascal Laugier has public said he drew inspiration from Hostel (2005) but instead of making a film about suffering he wanted to make one about pain. As we’ve mentioned, this one is certified GORE so make sure to eat before you sit down for this one.

Trailer incoming.

Lets just say I'm a big fan of the genre. It takes a lot to get me frightened (apart from cheap jump-scares) so I commend any decently produced film that does. Some of my favourite scary movies to watch are The Conjuring, It Follows and The Last House on the Left.
