Where to start? Well…this movie was recommended to me and sold to me as a horror film. It’s really more of a fesitishistic grossfest. This film contains, food fetish, violent sex, fat worship, cannibalism, and male and female nudity…frontal and…backal? There’s a lot of shock topics in the next 120 minutes. Ultimately it is a suspense thriller with a lot of great gory special effects.

We open in Australia. A rugged looking internet detective Phillip Jackson (Patrick Thompson) is about to bust in on a suspect. For what? We don’t know…yet. His Captain is not having it. Phillip is too emotionally attached to the case, and his boss feels he’s not ready to see with his own eyes what’s going on in the crime scene. What follows is a nasty scene where human body parts are being cooked on a stove, one part appears to be a human penis. Phillip finds the suspect upstairs in a bath tub where another man is feeding him his own cooked body parts. Um…ewww. The cut up man screams out of the embarrassment of being caught “It’s my body! I want to eat it! I want EAT IT!!!!” So, no…not a family film.

Phillip is very distraught, and disappointed…turns out even though it’s cannibalism, it’s still a victimless crime seeing as how the event was taking place between two consenting adults. Whatever! This film is full of implausible plot points, but just take a deep breath and accept it for what it is, cuz what happens next is worth the watch.

After Phillip gets over the grief of a botched investigation, he starts to search the web for his next case. He soon finds FeederX.com. Where there are short films of a man feeding obese women. Our detective traces the site to the United States and soon skips the big pond to track down the man who hosts the site. Phillip is positive that since the site is almost impenetrable our man must be up to no good. This is where we meet Michael (Alex O’Laughlin) the Feeder and Deidre (Gabby Millgate) the Eater. It’s time for weigh-in and it seems Deidre has met her goal weight at 605lbs. The fat costume is totally awesome and absolutely gag inducing.

The rest of the movie is Phillip tracking Michael down to stop him from feeding Deidre to death. We find out people are placing bets on the website to see how fat she’ll get and how long she’ll survive. There are a lot of erotic “feeding” scenes with Deidre and Michael, the discovery of other dead fat girls, and the creation of a special soup to feed little Dee Dee made out of Mega Carb Powder, Raw Eggs, and Human Fat. Mmm, mmm, soup is good food.

No, it not a good movie. But it’s such a fucking train wreck it’s hard not to watch the whole thing with your jaw on the floor. The soundtrack is hilarious, mostly comprised of rock covers of songs like Tainted Love and Yellow Polka Dot Bikini. And it’s an Aussie import. I didn’t know they were throwing horror films to us from down under. If they’re all this amazingly zany and creepy…keep’em coming. So, go buy some twinkie’s and ding dong’s and rent Feed. I promise at the end you’ll be saying “I can’t believe I watched the whole thing.”

Our First Look Into The Descent: Part 2

Neil Marshall steps aside, but not completely off the film set, for this much anticipated sequel.  The original Descent was directed by Mr. Marshall, and while he’s producing the sequel, the editor of the first installment has given the film a go as director.  Even though this is Jon Harris’s directorial debut, expect much of the same in respects to the brutal carnage, claustrophobic dwellings, and fast paced action.
Sarah finds herself returning …
